Bajaj Slashes Prices Of Freedom 125 CNG By Up To Rs 10,000

Bajaj has reduced the prices of the Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle. Introduced in July this year, the alternative-fuel bike retailed at a base MRP of Rs 95,000. Now, the entry-level drum variant has become more affordable by Rs 5,000, retailing at Rs 89,997 (ex-showroom). The mid-spec drum LED variant sees a higher price cut of Rs 10,000, reducing its cost to Rs 95,002 (ex-showroom). The top Disc LED variant continues with the same price tag of Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom).

Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG Offers 102 km/kg Of Mileage

The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG is powered by a 125 cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 9.5 hp and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. This engine can run on petrol and CNG. Owners can toggle between the fuels through a handlebar-mounted switch. Bajaj claims a 102 km/kg mileage on CNG and 65 km/l on petrol for the Freedom. It has a petrol tank capacity of 2 litres and 2 kg of CNG capacity.

The Freedom 125 weighs 149 kg and uses a trellis frame with the CNG tank inside the rear sub-frame. Suspension duties on this alternative-fuel motorcycle are handled by telescopic forks at the front with a monoshock setup at the rear. The base and mid variants have drum brakes on both ends, while the top variant features disc brakes at the front. The Freedom 125 has a seat height of 825 mm.
