Bajaj Pulsar N125 Teased; Official Debut Tomorrow

Bajaj will introduce the highly-anticipated Pulsar N125 tomorrow. Before the official unveiling, the two-wheeler manufacturer teased the upcoming motorcycle on social media platforms. Though the teaser does not reveal many details, a few things get clear. The new Pulsar N125 will feature an attractive design. It will have stylish graphics on the tank with the Pulsar branding—the teased bike sports a shade of purple, reminiscent of the older motorcycle models. Bajaj has blacked out some parts to create an appealing contrasting look for the N125.

The teaser also mentions that the new bike has been "made to zig-zag through traffic and cut the chaos." This could hint toward the bike's agile handling characteristics. The new N125 will join the existing lineup of Pulsar N series motorcycles from Bajaj, which include the N150, N160, and N250. Specifications of the N125 are still under wraps. But like previous N models, it is likely to get a new engine with good refinement.

The new Pulsar N125 could use a reworked version of the engine that powers the Pulsar 125. It is a 124.4 cc, single-cylinder unit that produces close to 12 hp and 10.8 Nm of peak torque. The new NS125 will likely get telescopic forks at the front with a monoshock setup at the rear. Earlier spy shots confirmed that the N125 will have one variant with a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear.

The new Pulsar N125 will compete with the TVS Raider 125 and the Hero Xtreme 125 R. The former retails at a starting price of Rs 89,366 (ex-showroom), while the latter costs Rs 97.666 (ex-showroom). Expect the Pulsar N125's prices to fall closer to these.
