Honda has filed yet another design patent in India. We earlier reported on the two-wheeler manufacturer filing design patents for the Hornet 2.0-based neo-retro motorcycle and the NT1100 sports tourer. The brand has now filed a patent for the CG 160 motorcycle, a commuter bike that Honda sells in Brazil.

Honda CG 160: Engine SpecificationsThe Honda CG 160 is available in multiple configurations: the CG 160 Start, CG 160 Fan, CG 160 Titan, and CG 160 Cargo. All models are powered by the same 160cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 14.5 Bhp and 14 Nm of peak torque. The engine pairs with a five-speed gearbox.
Honda CG 160: FeaturesThe CG 160 uses telescopic forks at the front and dual shocks at the back. Both wheels are equipped with disc brakes, and the bike comes with single-channel ABS. The feature list includes a TFT dashboard and an LED headlight. The CG 160 also comes with halogen winkers.

Honda CG 160: India LaunchHonda's two-wheeler line-up in India includes two 160cc motorcycles: the Unicorn and SP160. Honda filing a patent for the CG 160 may not necessarily mean that it will launch it in India. The manufacturer could just be protecting the design of the motorcycle.
