Honda has filed a design patent for the NPF 125 scooter in India. The smart-looking scooter is on sale overseas, in markets such as China. It uses the same platform as the Activa 125 and Dio 125 sold in India. The design patent filing does not mean the Japanese bike maker will launch the scooter in India. The brand could protect the vehicle's design in the Indian market like it has done with its other international products.
