Honda's First Electric Scooter To Get Two Riding Modes

Honda will launch its first electric scooter in India on November 27. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has been dropping teasers ahead of the official unveiling. So far, we know of the LED headlight, bench seat, and electric motor of Honda's upcoming EV. Now, a week ahead of the launch, the brand has teased the digital instrument cluster of the e-scooter, and it reveals some interesting details.

Honda's teaser shows two digital instrument screens. The bigger one resembles the console on the CUV e, Honda's newest e-scooter for Europe. The smaller one is a more basic digital cluster. The larger screen is more comprehensive in the information it displays. It shows the current battery level and the range. In the teaser, the battery SOC is at 100%, with 104 km of displayed range.

This indicates that the new Honda e-scooter will have over 100 km of range on one charge. The screen also shows the trip meter, current speed, and odometer reading. Interestingly, it also shows the two riding modes. The e-scooter from Honda will have two riding modes: Standard and Sport. The second screen shown in the teaser basic. It shows the readouts for the current speed, trip meter reading and battery SOC, with the current riding mode.

The new e-scooter will likely have multiple trims, with Honda teasing two digital screens. Higher ones will likely feature the bigger instrument cluster, with the basic one used in the entry-level ones.
