Ultraviolette launched its first electric scooter in India today. Called the Tesseract, it is available at a special introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers. For the next 50,000 customers, the price has been set at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). After that, the e-scooter will retail at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the Tesseract are now open at a token amount of Rs 999. Deliveries are scheduled to start early next year.

Ultraviolette Tesseract: Motor, Battery, And RangeThe Tesseract will be available with three battery pack options: 6 kWh, 5 kWh, and 3.5 kWh. The 6 kWh battery pack has an IDC range of 261 km, while the 5 kWh pack promises an IDC range of 220 km. The IDC range for the 3.5 kWh pack stands at 162 km. Variants equipped with the 6 kWh and 5 kWh packs get a 15 kW electric motor, while the 3.5 kWh versions come with a 10 kW unit.

Ultraviolette Tesseract: FeaturesThe Tesseract's feature list is pretty extensive. It comes with an integrated radar and dashcam. There are tons of rider assistance systems on offer, such as blindspot detection, lane change assist, overtaking assist, and rear-time collision alerts.
The Tesseract comes with a 7-inch TFT display. The Violette A.I. system has multiple features, such as ride analytics, movement, fall and towing Alerts, remote lockdown, crash alerts, daily ride stats, and an anti-collision warning system.

Ultraviolette Tesseract: Storage And ColoursUltraviolette is offering its new electric scooter with 14-inch wheels and a large storage capacity of 34 litres. Four colour options will be available for this e-scooter: Sunburst Sand, Stealth Black, Sonic Pink, and Solar White.
