Hyundai Creta EV To Rival The Maruti Suzuki eVX
Being an electric vehicle, the Creta EV will sit above the standard Creta. As a result, it will have a higher price tag. The Creta ICE has a base MRP of Rs 10.99 lakh, while its top trim costs Rs 20.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch, the Creta EV will face competition from the Tata Curvv EV and, later on, from the Maruti Suzuki eVX.
Distinct Exterior Styling For the Hyundai Creta EV
To keep costs low, Hyundai will manufacture the electric version of the Creta in the same plant as the Creta ICE. The two SUVs will share many components. Spy shots have revealed that the Creta EV will look almost identical to the ICE version. However, there will be small differences.
For instance, the Creta EV will have a closed front grille, restyled front and rear bumpers, and a charging port at the front. It will also have a unique aero design for the alloy wheels and EV badging to differentiate it from the non-EV version.
