Maruti Suzuki eVX will be the first electric vehicle from the brand and is expected to arrive in India by early 2025.

The production version of the eVX will first go on sale in Europe and Japan and arrive in India by early 2025. It will also spawn a Toyota counterpart that will be manufactured in India for global markets.

The Hyundai Creat EV will share components with the petrol-version but will have distinctive design features for a unique identity.

The electric version of the Creta is expected to launch in India sometime in early 2025.

The Tata Sierra EV will bring back Tata's iconic nameplate in an all-electric avatar and is expected to launch in the financial year 2026.

The brand showcased the first glimpse of this upcoming electric SUV as a concept at the 2020 Auto Expo. Subsequently, we saw a version closer to the production guise at the Bharat Mobility Expo last year. Details about the Sierra EV are still under wraps. However, what's clear from the concept is that it will have styling cues reflective of the model from yesteryears. The Sierra EV is expected to launch in India in the financial year 2026.

The Mahindra XUv.e8 features and exterior profile similar to the XUV700 but has certain distinctive design features that make it stand out compared to its petrol-derivative.

It is essentially an electric version of the XUV700, sharing similar dimensions, exterior design, and interior layout. However, in the teaser images shared by the brand, we can see certain unique aesthetic elements that will set the electric version apart from the petrol models. The XUV.e8 will be underpinned by Mahindra's INGLO platform and is expected to launch by the end of 2024.

The Elevate EV will arrive in the next three years and will be Honda's first electric vehicle in India.

Honda Elevate EVHonda will introduce an electric version of the Elevate in India. The Japanese brand confirmed that its compact electric SUV will arrive within three years. Details regarding the Elevate EV are still under wraps. What is known is that Honda will export the Elevate EV from India to global markets, such as Japan.
