Here's a look at the top EVs that were launched in 2024.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre has an enormous 120kWh battery pack that has a range of 530km on the WTLP cycle. Its battery can be charged from 10-80 per cent with a 195kW charger in just 34 minutes, but if you use a 50kW DC charger, it will take 95 minutes. The design has a long bonnet with a fastback tail and a clean profile. It has two electric motors, one present on each axle, which combined produce a 593.11 Bhp power and 900 Nm torque. The brand says that it will just take 4.5 seconds to reach the speed of 100 kph. This new Rolls-Royce Spectre is installed with entirely new seats, with the rear ones integrated into the interior body panels. This upscale car was launched for Rs 7.5 Crore (ex-showroom) in India.

The MG Windsor was the first mass-market vehicle with a panoramic glass roof. The MG Windsor has a length of 4,295 mm and a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. It comes with a ground clearance of 186 mm. It has a 38kWh battery pack, offering a range of 331 km on a single charge. It has a front axle-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor produces 137.89 Bhp power and 200 Nm torque. It was launched for Rs 9.99 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra BE 6
The Mahindra BE 6 has an impressive look. It has an ARAI-certified range of up to 682 km. As claimed by the brand, it can accelerate from 0-100 kph in 6.7 seconds. It comes with two battery packs: a 59kWh unit that produces a power of 231.16 Bhp and 380 Nm torque and a 79kWh unit that yields a power of 284.90 Bhp and 380 Nm torque. It debuted in India for Rs 18.90 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Curvv EV

The Tata Curvv EV comes with a wheelbase of 2,560 mm. It comes in two variants, namely the 45 and 55. It has a front-mounted, permanent magnet synchronous motor for both variants. The torque generation for both variants is 215 Nm; for variant 45, the power generated is 152.08 Bhp, and for variant 55, the power generated is 169.32 Bhp. The battery has two battery packs, a 45kWh and a 55kWh. It also comes with three drive modes - eco, city and sport. It was launched in India for Rs 20.21 Lakh(ex-showroom).

The Kia EV9 has a 6-seater layout, with the second-row seats being captain chairs. It has features like electric adjustment, massage function and adjustable leg support. It has a 99.8kWh battery pack that powers dual electric motors. The two motors combined produce a power of 389.33 Bhp and 700 Nm torque. It offers an ARAI-certified range of 561 km, and the battery can be charged to 10-80 percent in 24 minutes. It was launched in India for Rs 1.3 Crore (ex-showroom).
