BMW F 900 R And F 900 XR Updated For 2025 Model Year

BMW has introduced the 2025 F 900 R and F900 XR overseas. Both motorcycles come with a series of updates for their respective new iterations. The changes include visual revisions, hardware upgrades, and new standard features. No changes have been made to the 895cc twin-cylinder water-cooled engine that powers the F 900 R and F 900 XR. It continues to produce 105 hp and 92 Nm of peak torque. However, the engine is now Euro 5+ emission standard compliant.

BMW has tweaked the dynamic riding mode available on the 2025 F 900 R and F 900 XR. The brand says the improved software will enhance the riding experience when the bikes are pushed hard. Other upgrades include introducing drag torque control and cornering ABS on both bikes. On the hardware front, you see new 43 mm USD forks at the front that are rebound, pre-load, and compression adjustable. Also available are new cast wheels, which are 1.8 kg lighter than the ones available on the outgoing bikes.

Other weight-saving measures on the F 900 pair include a new Lithium-Ion battery that is 1 kg lighter and a new taillight assembly that incorporates the indicators. Overall, the 2025 F 900 R and F 900 XR are 3 kg lighter than their respective outgoing models.
