Honda Unveils Two Electric Two-Wheeler Concepts At EICMA 2024

Honda unveiled two futuristic electric motorcycle concepts at the EICMA 2024: the EV Fun and EV Urban. The EV Fun is an electric naked motorcycle with a sharp face and chunky tyres, with the battery pack in the middle. Though the EV Fun is still in the concept stage, Honda claims its production model will debut next year. Specifications are still under wraps, but the brand has shared that the EV Fun will do more than 100 km on a full charge.

Unlike modern urban-focused electric two-wheelers, the EV Fun concept features a fixed battery and is compatible with CCS2 quick charging. Honda has also showcased the EV Urban at EICMA 2024. Unlike the EV Fun, this concept EV is far from the production stage. Aesthetically, it looks like a maxi-scooter. It has a large visor but a flat handlebar like a motorcycle. The battery pack sits in the footwell, and a chain mechanism drives the rear wheel.

Honda hasn't made any announcements on when the EV Urban concept will go into production.

Honda showcased the CUV e electric scooter at EICMA 2024 alongside these concepts. The e-scooter comes with two removable battery packs. Honda claims a range of more than 70 km with the CUV e. It comes with three riding modes: Standard, Sport, and Eco. The range fluctuates according to the mode selected. You can even choose the size of the instrument cluster for the CUV e. Honda offers this e-scooter with either a 5-inch or a 7-inch display, with both offering Bluetooth connectivity.
