A race-tuned version of the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 electric motorcycle has clocked a lap time of 1.19.338 at the Kari Motor Speedway. In doing so, it crushed the lap records of the stock configuration Aprilia RS 457, Yamaha R3, KTM 390 Duke, and KTM RC 390. All motorcycles were ridden by Abhishek Vasudev, who has eight championship titles and 14 years of racing experience.Also Read: 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X Likely To Break Cover At IBWIn a hot lap, where all motorcycles had a flying start, the Yamaha R3 clocked a time of 1.22.728, the Aprilia RS 457 took 1.20.168, the KTM RC 390 1.21.932, and the KTM 390 Duke 1.20.934. Ultraviolette didn't reveal the specifications of the race-tuned F77 Mach 2. However, the standard version of the electric motorcycle packs a 40.2 hp electric motor that produces 100 Nm of peak torque. To put things in perspective, the Yamaha R3's 321cc engine produces 42 hp and 29.6 Nm of peak torque. The 457cc engine in the Aprilia RS 457 produces 47 hp and 43.5 Nm of peak torque. The 399cc engine in the KTM 390 Duke and the 373cc engine in the KTM RC 390 produce 48 hp with 39 Nm and 43.5 hp with 37 Nm of peak torque, respectively.Also Read: Honda's Electric Scooter For India Will Have Swappable BatteriesWhile the record time posted by the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is impressive, it should be noted that a race-tuned version did it. The ICE motorcycles used to set a benchmark were all stock.
