Yamaha has updated its FZ-S Fi Version 4.0 DLX in the Indian market with new paint schemes. The brand has added Ice Fluo-Vermillion and Cyber Green colour to the mix. With the aesthetic updates, the bike is available for Indian consumers at a starting price of 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom). With this update, the brand aims to increase the sales of two-wheelers among young consumers. Apart from that, the bike's design, features, and mechanics remain the same.
The Yamaha FZS-S Fi Version 4.0 continues to have its streetfighter design with a muscular fuel tank. This look is complemented by the headlamp cluster which consists of LED headlights and DRLs. The bike gets chrome duct plating and a 3D emblem to add to the feel. To complement this design, the bike is now available in six colours, including the new Ice Fluo-Vermillion and Cyber Green along with previously available Majesty Red, Racing Blue, Matte Black, and Metallic Grey.

In terms of features, the bike gets a digital instrument cluster that enables Bluetooth. The bike also has features like a call alert, SMS and email notification, phone battery level status, and app connectivity. The app opens doors to a host of features like a fuel consumption tracker, last parking location, revs dashboard, maintenance notification, and more.
On the front end, the bike gets a telescopic fork while the rear end gets a 7-step adjustable monoshock. The braking duties are handled by a 282 mm disc brake on the front end and a 220 mm disc brake on the rear end. The brand has also added the safety of single-channel ABS.
Powering the Yamaha FZ-S Fi Version 4.0 DLX is an E20 compatible 149 cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 12.2 bhp of power and 13.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. This power unit returns a mileage of around 46kmpl.
